Privacy Policy

AI Tutor is provided by IT Source One. The app is a personal AI learning assistant for students and parents (homeschool and independent study).

Account data: name, email address, password (stored by our authentication provider), role (student or parent), and sign-in method (email, Google, or Apple).

Learning profile: age and grade, used to pace tutoring.

Learning content: chat messages, voice lesson audio processed to provide tutoring, uploaded homework images and documents, canvas sketches, quiz responses, and progress (sessions, topics, scores).

Family links: which parent account is linked to which child accounts.

Usage and billing metadata: plan, remaining hours / quizzes / materials, and purchase records provided by Apple or Google. We do not receive your full card number; stores handle payment.

Device permissions you allow: microphone (voice lessons), speech recognition (turning speech into text), camera and photos (homework and materials), and network access (to run the tutor).

Technical data: basic device and app information needed to operate, secure, and debug the service. If analytics tools are enabled, they may collect coarse usage events.

To create and authenticate accounts, including parent-created child accounts.

To provide tutoring: we send the relevant lesson context (messages, images, transcripts, learning profile) to our servers and to AI model providers so the tutor can reply.

To generate quizzes, extract problems from uploaded materials, and show progress.

To apply the family hour pool and store entitlements.

To respond to support and account-deletion requests.

To keep the service secure and to meet legal obligations.

Lesson content is processed by AI providers so the tutor can explain, speak, and quiz. Do not upload information you are not comfortable sending to those processors. We ask providers to use this content to provide the service, not to sell it as advertising.

AI Tutor accounts, including parent-created child/student accounts, are for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Parents create linked student accounts (with a display name, email, password, age, and grade) and can review learning activity from the parent dashboard.

If you believe someone under 13 has created an account, email support@itsourceone.com and we will help close it.

This marketing site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The host may set essential cookies for security. Language is chosen from the URL (/en or /ar).

We share data with service providers who help us run the app: authentication and cloud infrastructure (including Firebase), AI model providers, and Apple or Google for in-app purchases.

We share when required by law, or to protect the security of the service and our users.

We do not sell personal information.

We keep account and learning data while the account is active. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by emailing support@itsourceone.com with the subject “Delete my AI Tutor account”.

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Purchase records may be retained as required for tax, accounting, or store rules, then deleted or anonymized. We may retain data we are legally required to keep.

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) but no method is perfect. Servers and AI providers may process data outside your country.

You can decline microphone, camera, or photo permissions in system settings (voice and homework features will not work without them).

You can manage subscriptions in Apple or Google Play settings.

You can request access or correction by emailing support@itsourceone.com.

We will post updates on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
